God... charity... Family... work ethic.
First of all, ever since I was a child, I have been raised to follow Christian teachings to be charitable and respect others. I grew up in a Christian family and I always went to church with my parents. I believe in God and I fully trust in God's will because I have faith that God works for good in all things with those who love Him.
Charity is the second most important idea in my life. Charity is love too. When we help others, we give our own life a sense of meaning. Because of this, we become better people and we can make a difference in the world.
Family is the third most important idea in my life because it is the basis of society. In my opinion, the concept of "family" should be interpreted in "lato sensu", because “family” is not just by consanguinity, but also by affinity or adoption. I believe that it is within the family that the individuals shape their personalities, learn how to live in society, and acquire ethical and moral principles. Therefore I believe that a strong family structure is essential to forming good citizens and making the world a better place to live in.
Finally, work ethic is the fourth most important idea in my life because it dignifies us as human beings, makes us feel useful, gives us financial independence, and satisfies our basic needs. Work is essential in our personal life too, so we need to enjoy what we do. Indeed, Voltaire, a famous French philosopher, said that “Work saves us from three great evils: boredom, vice and need."
